Our Mission
Just Play was founded by Katie Holbrook. Katie has over 15 yrs experience in community programming, sports management and youth coaching. She has coached kids spanning 2-18+ in many sports from introductory & recreational to Club/AAU and D1 HS varsity. Katie has planned hundreds of camps, classes & clinics serving thousands of children in partnership with 60+ communities over the years. Community, inclusion, empowerment, intentionality and of course fun are at the core of Katie's coaching philosophy and woven into the programs she plans. When she isn't working in sports you can find her volunteering on the local youth sports boards, coaching her two kids in basketball & baseball, planning a family adventure, or orchestrating a themed game night.
At Just Play, we believe in the power of play to bring people together. Our facility connects kids and adults through sports, enrichment classes, birthday celebrations, and family game nights. We aim to create a lively community space that promotes learning, movement, and joy for all ages and abilities.
